Why would I care about life if I had control over every dimension, universe, and the like?

If I had to deal with humanity, I think I would just silently pull the plug.
As I see it, there's nothing more to life than a selfish desire to reproduce, humanity has only created abstracts to deceive themselves from such purpose.

If you weren't to intervene, you would be responsible for the very things you're against, that being misery.
If you were to intervene, humanity would become a utopian totalitarianism, indistinguishable from a dystopia; a sort of celestial North Korea, as Christopher Hitchens put it.

Fixing global issues seems to be a priority, but people are generally too flawed to correctly make decisions that affect a large number of people, so taking it upon yourself to personally fix humanity's problems is aiming a little too high.

In terms of solving issues nationally and globally, it would make more sense to use this power to create some form of super-intelligence with the attributes normally assigned to God (loving, merciful, omniscient etc.), and delegate it to fix those problems.
