Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: chat anti-aliasing

If the Staff make it so it looks like the text on the right by default I would very much like that.

Re: chat anti-aliasing

I've only ever seen it break in screenshots from other people. Perhaps it's a hardware thing?

I don't know jack but I'll try: something to do with hardware acceleration? GFX card and browser not understanding each other?

Re: chat anti-aliasing

if any of you prefer un-AA'd text, here's how you do it:

Control Panel > System & Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Performance Settings > Uncheck "Smooth edges of screen fonts"

works on win10, other win based systems should follow a similar procedure

btw it works for ALL TEXT, not just for EE! this is what the forums looks like without AA

imo it looks much better, everything is crispy

to be honest it's kinda easier on my eyes to have at least a bit of anti-aliasing.

and thing is, i tried changing windows settings because like, the forums subtly changed and these sorts of things bother me but it just bothered me more and bleh

so i'm not going to do anything because it only happens on ee and i don't want to change all the anti-aliasing, only on ee y'know?
