Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Password problem

Why EE forum using random password like L281FQOPA
Not use actual password? Just simple one example: Password is yomama.
I had same problem as this everytime. EVERYTIME.

Using forum would be easier if forum will do this.

Re: Password problem

Because yo mama would be easy to guess. Did you know that you can (and should) change your password under your profile?

I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

He means when forgetting password, it randomizes the password, what i actually find normal.

Well why would someone would do that like he/she want to figure password in anyone's account? That's stupid.

Make password easier that people will create his/her password. I always forgot password and I don't want for it. Also when after pressed forgotten password, password was correct but it said wrong. How?

You're supposed to put in your own password after the reset if you don't want some random string of characters

profile > Essentials > Change Password. Interestingly enough, you don't even need to know the old one.

Re: Password problem

I'm told you don't need to use your old password. I'm seeing "New password" and "Confirm New Password" which does not mean "old password"

The authentication isn't like what you might expect because by being logged in you already show you confirmed your old password.

If it turns out you /do/ need an old password and we're all just on the wrong page, remember your "old password" is actually whatever the forums changed it to. //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Don't use easy passwords and also don't use the same password on multiple sites.
If you are not going to do this, then it's your own fault if a site get hacked and the database leaks.
