So I don't know if any of you have seen this comic but I thought it was dumb:
So I rotated it and added another panel:
But I thought that was too low effort so I brought in blender:
And then I figured I'd make a whole animation out of it instead of a single frame.

Actually this has been sitting on my computer for a while but with the release of blender 2.78 they added fluid sim support for motion blur so I brought it back up and re-did it.

I saw this 'comic(?)' too, but with a different setting. The rope was connected to a anvil that was above the person holding the rope.
