Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Make it big in real life and you'll automatically become big on the net
Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

So that you have many people (lets say hundreds or thousands) following what you do.
If you're a youtuber, you have many people watching your videos. If you're a blogger, you have many people checking out your posts.

koya pretty much takes the cake
however, i discovered there's a really scummy way to get popular, and it's so incredibly easy it's a bit uncomfortable to imagine
1. visit a site, preferably image sharing with a like system (imgur, ifunny, other trash websites)
2. there are 2 ways to go about this, which is:
-make yourself a "theme" account, which you basically post only images that relate to your theme (funny cat videos, best pranks, people falling over cliffs and dying)
-steal images and repost them. better if they're from 3 years ago
3. go to popular user's profile and repost everything you see and comment on everything you see, thus giving yourself attention
4. keep this going for days, maybe weeks, until one notices you
5. manipulate them with kindness and engage an "rp4rp" (republish for republish)
6. watch your subscriber/follower/slave count rise skyhigh
7. once you have reached a good amount, delete all your posts and change your name to a different theme, therefore making yourself another brand new theme account, but still retaining your followers
8. rinse and repeat until you get bored and search for another site to get famous at
of course, this isn't what you would call "popular", but some people prefer this way to get a quick so-called "fanbase"

In response of all the posts: What? The only way to get popular on the internet is to record youself making something REALLY stupid and then upload it to YT.
