Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Fading of invisible dots/arrows

All invisible physics blocks - dots and arrows - only fade away if they're visible on your screen, otherwise they hang around until you see them again, and then fade.

I.E. In a 100x100 world filled with invisible dots, if you go from on end to the other - making a line of dots visible - and then come back, those previous dots made visible will only fade once you can see them again.

They will also not fade if you're in godmode.

about the thing that they don't fade if you're in god mode, it's because they are fully visible always when you're in god mode

If you run around on some dots and make them visible, and then godmode, however long you wait those dots will only start/carry on fading once you go off godmode.

Re: Fading of invisible dots/arrows

bunp coz this can lead to some very serious lag if a lot of invisible gravity is placed while you're in godmode by anybody, as the game does not like fading so many blocks at once. if a lot of these are placed, the game can become unplayable because of you going into new areas where those dots haven't faded yet so they lag your game even more

edit: this also happens when dots are placed outside of your screen when not in godmode. entering an area where a bunch of dots were placed since last visiting it will force ur game to fade all of them at once which is really laggy

edit: man this is bad for me even when returning to past trails left behind when just moving around

this sucks

So no matter what state you're in, they are always invisible?

They only fade if they are on your screen because those are the only blocks that are rendered. Everything outside of your FOV is left alone.

Well yeah but how about if invisible stuff was set to fully invisible just before being unrendered?
I can't think of many times where you have to see them, while I think of many times it looks gross.

Fairly sure there is no "unrendering" of blocks. Just blocks that are not rendered at all.
