Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Yo who's ready for the release in 2 hours woooo!! It's a game with 18 quintillion planets to explore and it's free roaming the universe basically. There's the slimmest chance but you may run into another player.

Apparently this runs flawlessly in WINE unless you're on a mac in which case you're out of luck since OS X only supports OpenGL up to 4.3 or something and NMS requires 4.5. But if you're on Linux, don't mind dropping $60 on a game with trillions of totally unique and never before seen palette-swapped planets, and don't mind the looming threat of paid DLC just to get actual content for a game that already costs 2-3 times as much as its worth then you're in luck!
Have not played it but from what I've heard and seen so far this is basically just Noctis IV 2016 NOW WITH MINING.

It's a fun game, the emphasis is on exploring planets to find animals, plants and relics; you also need to make money through mining and selling on the global market or to starship captains in order for you to buy fuel for FTL travel.
The game is pretty rough with bugs (one of which meant that everyone got a choice whether to freely explore or chose the Atlas path (basically find all of the animals on all planets and be rewarded) but I wasn't given the choice and I think freely exploring is the default) and graphical glitches and a lot of things that people have been talking about it pre-release were wrong such as that standard models are not randomly generated and they don't blend into the environment; it is important to not gauge NMS's graphics with games like Skyrim as you just cannot expect the same detail reliably from procedural generation.
With that all said the game is good and I would recommend it but don't dive in expecting a finished game, Hello Games is working on patches and extra content that may or may not be free; also don't be like Pingo and get it without looking at the system requirements, a lot of the negative ratings where because people have bad computers - read the system requirements and if you can't match it then don't get it.
I have spent 13 out of 15.5 hours on a single planet (between the planet and an orbiting space station) which its main colour is grey and looks ugly compared to other people's screenshots - but there are Emril mountains which can be mined easily for a mint and there is an endless number of things to do on each planet; the mining has allowed me to buy a new ship so I can store more Emeril and fuel for more mining.

I have my Steam broadcasting settings set to on for everyone so drop by http://steamcommunity.com/id/bananabutt … lepancakes
My mountain miner:
(Arrows and diamonds means faster at mining Emril, flames are for increased attacking damage, ×(12+3) mining speed)

Yeah within like 2 weeks or 2 hours of playing it, but they still make exceptions sometimes.

refunding is probably the most optimal choice since i wasted 60 dollars on a game
but im going to take my chances and hopefully either:
-nms will become more optimized and somehow start supporting intel graphics cards
-get a new computer

If you get a new computer just for one game, then you've spent more than 60 dollars on it.
thx for sig bobithan
