Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Would you let Ben Carson operate on you? I wouldn't.Does it bother you more that nine times out of ten you aren't conscious while they play with your insides?
It doesn't bother me any more, nor any less. It's not about fearing death either, it's about regaining consciousness and experiencing excruciating pain, or doing irreversible damage.

Would you let Ben Carson operate on you? I wouldn't.Had this for a while but after like 10 of them it went away. When I was little though I was basically rabid when it was time for surgery.
Well, most people will have to undergo some form of surgery at some point, probably not upwards of 10 times however so the irrational fear is likely still very prevalent.

I'm scared of permanent stuff, already have permanent marks which I wish were not there; hoping that in time nobody else can see them.

And then daddy long legs (dunno the proper name, if there is one) are probably the most scary for me. Again, I have to avoid them but the distance I keep is much larger than the distance I keep from moths. They are also a lot more difficult to ignore than moths.
They don't even do anything. I used to pick them up and play with them

this is tru
i once knew a dude afraid of ladybugs, like, legitimately would scream. one of our classrooms would have a ton of them crawling on the walls. even though i told him multiple times that they were actually japanese beetles and not true lady bugs, he wouldn't listen. just keep taking off his shoe and smashing it against the wall.Afraid/dislike of any other insects?
not that i know of, he just really really hated ladybugs.
oh ye i'm also kinda afraid of the dark. and bugs.

I used to be able to do that when I was a kid. But idk for some reason they just became scary at some point. And I know they don't do anything; it's an irrational fear.

The scariest spider for me is the black widow.
The scariest spider for me is the black widow.
Coincidentally, that's my scariest neighbor. She yells a lot.

You ok man
“Augustus, perhaps you’d like to share your fears with the group.”
“My fears?”
“Yes.”
“I fear oblivion,” he said without a moment’s pause. “I fear it like the proverbial blind man who’s afraid of the dark.”
“Too soon,” Isaac said, cracking a smile.
“Was that insensitive?” Augustus asked. “I can be pretty blind to other people’s feelings.”

Y'all are so cute with your reasonable phobias. My weird phobia is speaking to people on the phone.
Not alone, if I use a phone it has to be only texting and I will not answer a ringing phone under any circumstance.

idk i consider it more anxiety related than an actual phobia? granted i'd say phobias are anxiety...
i can answer ringing phones if it's close family, but i can't call anyone unless it's my dad, even if it's an emergency or someone's in the hospital or something. i have to force myself to make calls and sometimes i hang up as soon as it starts ringing kek
calling aol customer service was an awful experience. especially when i got connected to a person.

I guess I would probably define it as anxiety rather than fear, but I cannot overcome it - issues with speech since I was young does not help confidence when the only interaction is through the voice

I have a fear of heights, isn't that acrophobia?
Edit: I also have a small fear of the dark. I always think somebody (probably one of my siblings) is gonna jump out and scare me.

Saying " How about forget that episode?" wont help, a phobia is irrational, like my fear of spiders I know that England only really has one spider that can hurt me ( the False Widow Spider ) yet knowing that doesn't make me any less sacred.

I don't know why but I've always been scared of library books. I like reading, but library books make me freak out.
