Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

It's possible but people like privacy. It's for the better that this doesn't exist.

Cool. Can someone refresh my memory on how this works? Is it the lobby friend's list, did someone update EE to make the player locations on the profile or something, or did they make PlayerObjects public again?
(or none of the above)
Oh this is your idea. I guess the above is a list of potential aims for a programmer to achieve it. I doubt anyone would appreciate a bot that constantly joins other worlds, so we should probably throw that idea out.

It's possible to check if a user is online. But getting worldid doesn't work anymore. Processor removed it.
The only way to check if a user is in a world, is by using a bot that join every world. Like Zerk did.

Isn't it poss with friends list? Maybe we could create several bot accounts and people could friend them if they want their location to be public to everyone. You would only need to friend one of the bots for this to work.

Or we could make the bot use a player IO server, and it'd work like this:
User wants to find PERSON --> Goes into server que --> Server que refreshes for 1 minute of wait time.
User2 wants to find PERSON2 30 seconds later --> Goes into server que --> Server que refreshes for 1 minute of wait time.
User3 wants to find PERSON3 59 seconds later --> Goes into server que --> Server que refreshes for 1 minute of wait time.
User also wants to find PERSON4 24 seconds later --> Goes into server que
1 Minute of server que time passed.
There are players to find in the que? --> Bot joins every online world as a guest.
Bot joins a world as a guest --> World is full of guests? --> Joins as an account
Bot joins every world (completed)? --> Server updates BigDB of scan times and if they were active, and what world they are on.
User(number)'s client would refresh, showing PERSON(number) is (not) online - last scan time: just now
^^^^^
It's alot of work, but it saves a mass invasion of bots constantly joining worlds 24/7

Getting worldID doesn't work anymore.
But. If you want to know if the user is online, use EE Profile Stats

Very inactive, maybe in the future, idk.

Isn't there some entry that displays all players inside a room without actually joining it?
So you'd still spider every room, just not actually join it.

Getting worldID doesn't work anymore.
Do you mean the listrooms function?
One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Imagine how many people would use it to find staff and bombard them with questions. I don't think it's a great idea

I'm sure the staff has incognito accounts when they don't want to be questioned, but I agree, I don't really want everyone to know where I am all the time.

I can imagine that some of the more "popular" people to be bombarded with questions with this too.
As will people that have haters be only more bothered by them.

Well, regardless, I don't want people to be able to find me if they're not on my friend list. I hate making my worlds visible false in case my friends want to join, so that's not an option.

I used to have a bot like this. I didn't share it tho because I thought somebody could use it for bullying. I'm still on the same opinion.

Fine, here it is. This used to be a spy tool but i deleted a lot and limited it into a user finder.
