Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Add Reputation in profile

And.. Sometimes you want to add/substract user's Reputation off-topic. Like "yo, you are cool guy". And to do this you need to go to random post and do it from there. Why cant you do it from profile?

Re: Reputation

well, reps are linked to posts. Linking it directly to the profile would mean someone can potentially get endless rep without doing anything.

what's the difference between voting in profile or going to random post and vote there? (you have to wait 300 mins between each rep anyway)

Re: Reputation

I will admit that sometimes I've found myself curious about a person's reputation, but have to find a post first. Displaying it on the profile page makes sense to me.

But that's the exact point of the rep system(in theory at least): you know if someone's posts are generally useful/side with the community or not. And you are supposed to reward the posts, not the user.
Furthermore, it would encourage "rep4rep" behavior, but you can't really control that, because it happens anyway.

Having the rep count shown on the profile page is ok, it's just displaying info you can get elsewhere anyway.
