Hello everyone,
Started working this week on a new bot: MageWars.

Currently it's missing all forms of PvP control, which I will try and add.
I just wanted to know if some of you guys, that have had a chance to play it, would be kind enough to write one or two lines of feedback (aka the only way to make things better).

If you just stand still, lava doesn't kill you unless you sink into more lava.
Maybe use fire or spikes and for protection teleport people to a protection effect block and then teleport them again to disable it?

currently water and air are close to useless. earth is an amazing substitute for water since earth also cures people, but has a larger radius.
the only way to kill someone holding down on a bottom edge is... you don't.

Here's an idea: Keep fire class, but make burst and nuke use spikes or fire. Make fire class be a 3x3 square with the top 6 blocks lava and the bottom 3 fire, like this:

It's a pretty fun map and bot, which basically sums up my opinion.
Suggestions wise:
-Rounds would be nice, in which teams are locked (unless there are too many players on one or more teams that it becomes unbalanced), and players must score points for their team by killing players of the enemy team. End would be determined by amount of points or a timer.
-The blocks in the battleground could possibly function as cover, meaning that spells would not bypass them, though with possible exceptions like nuke. If this were to be made, a 'Metal' class that created temporary cover in a wall-like formation would be nice.
-Air seems kind of useless currently, mostly because the only debuff comes through earth. If no changes are to be made to the class itself, maybe this could be fixed via adding more classes that inflict status effects? Not really sure what would be viable, though.

The map is just for the testing right? When you mostly finish the bot, you should make a new world map, atleast LARGE size.
And the play arena doesn't neccesarry have to be bigger, you just need to find some people who can do nice art, logo around your world!
