I can still see who an anonymous poster is through last forum poster.

for instance I know that Kaslai wants to do things with Nou and other staff

It's not the last poster in the forum.

No, since the bot just rips the info from the new posts page it gets fed the anonymized usernames as well.

I wasn't able to do it for a while but can again now.

I'm wondering if there is a relation to this bug and admin accounts, the next post below is Diff and I was able to find him previously.

Similar issue:
You can get username of the poster from email notifications when subscribed to topic.
