Got to level 13 today. Own 2 gyms, own a few cp level 1000+ pokemon. Live 2 minutes from a park that has 5 pokestops and a cemetary that has 8. Feels good man.

I hate when people say you have to walk in their backyard.

1) You can catch them from the radius on your screen - meaning you don't have to literally be in their backyard
2) you can find your precious charizard somewhere else

Point #1 is true, but point #2 nah. If I find a damn good pokemon Im going to do whatever it takes to get it before it disappears

there's a park near my house that contains a 9/11 memorial

somehow that memorial got turned into a gym, and now there's a huge circle of people around it battling an overpowered snorlax

a 9/11 memorial got turned into a zone for battling digital creatures created by a japanese game company

All gyms and pokestops are from Niantic's other game Ingress. People could submit portals in the early stages.

I have a cemetery right by my house and there are 9 pokestops and 3 gyms. 3 of the pokestops are right next to each other and there are people that go there everyday and put a lure on all 3.

Since I cant actually play the game in Canada I've heard that the servers are garbage at the moment

We probably shouldn't expect it in Canada or anywhere else for awhile, or least until they fix the servers

I went out for my first time with the game, and some friends (mainly brothers friends) and it kept kicking us off

Well now when I'm just at home and trying to do anything with it, it crashes after about a minute or two
