I found the .exe version of EE, but I was wondering if there was a Mac OS version available hidden somewhere?

The downloadable version is just the Flash projector bundled with EE's .swf IIRC. You can download the projector from the page I linked, grab the EE swf here, and put together your own downloadable EE. Also works for Linux.

Not a flash projector. I coded it in .NET which embedding it in the program. Using Internet Explorer Active-X.
Then they used ILMerge to pack the dll into the exe.

You can download the exe, then download PlayOnMac and run the exe.
That's the same as Wine. Made to run Windows executables. Not everyone wants to download extra unnecessary software to "just" run a simple game.
