Personally I'd like 250. I can understand the desire to disallow it though, given that doing such could significantly increase strain on the database.

A possible compromise would be to keep the 75 limit but have an option to see 250 via a link, like some kind of extended view. Because you won't really need to view 250posts all the time, do you?

If that's a problem, then 250 could be set as a new hard limit. If performance becomes an issue, we can revert it, but I don't really expect perf issues happening in the foreseeable future.

Why limit peoples' options simply because you dont expect people to use them?

Because of performance? Where did he say it was just because it was because he didn't expect people to need it 24/7? It does look like upping the limit much does impact performance. I'm currently playing around with how much we can get away with but it's hard to say how much of an impact it'd have on the server based on just one person.

Scroll all the way to the bottom of one of your topics, it's attached to the top of the footer, where the Jump to: box and the Powered by FluxBB message are. That's where it is for mods and crap so I put it there, although I could put another link on the OP.

Step 1: check if topic is in forum games
Step 2: check if topic has "mafia" in the name
If yes to both then the forums consider it a mafia topic.

Why limit that to a hidden feature in both that criteria? Why not just have it an option when creating a forum game? I imagine that Mafia isnt the only possible forum game that could benefit from this feature. If the concerns about unwillingly making uneditable posts without realizing it, perhaps there could be a warning before posting.
