Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

that could be interpreted in so many ways

1:4 and god saw the light, that it was good: and god divided the light
1:4 and god eyed the idea, that it was cool: and god divided the idea
1 to 4 and fitness guy (the blue circle could be a fitness headband) noticed the light bulb, that it was liked: and fitness guy divided the light bulb

Re: Modern Literature

I second the ambiguity problem. I don't read emoji because I don't write emoji.

I feel like that might be similar (linguistically?) to the sort of internet slang I picked up over a couple of years... sure, it's not much, and it sounds nerdy to call it "internet slang"

But certain phrases will come to mind as being used expressly on the internet with their own connotations. Similarly, all you hip kids probably have sent and received a larger volume and have grown to understand the pictures' verbal and connotative meanings... but I haven't.

so I dislike this greatly.

Emoji represent free speech.

Yeah. I was thinking about how blind people would interpret emojis through their text-to-speech or -to-braille... one would almost just have to write the intended translation.

Re: Modern Literature

You guys need to calm down lmao. Are you forgetting The Poisonwood Bible? Life of Pi? A Thousand Splendid Suns? All the Light We Cannot See?

All of these novels have been published fairly recently and are all considered books of literary merit comparable to classics such as Jane Eyre or 1984. Literature is not going anywhere.
