Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Ouch. Not even a mention of my rant! My questions, excluding a couple of which were overreaching, were arguably relevant. They help get a potential advisor into the situation. Right now, it seems like the OP has simply been mooching off of the others and they got burnt out. Trying to get this conversation to working order allows the OP to deny these accusations... or to admit them... and level with the community. Honestly, I'm probably responding too curtly.
And indeed, this thread isn't the best display of assistance. However, in general, this (sub-) forum isn't, either. Maybe we should start this over? Or, perhaps we should put up a sign that says "ABANDON ALL HOPE, YE WHO ENTER HERE... but if you DO ask for help, show how much work you've put into this!"

Stack Overflow is useful for generic questions that can be applicable to many other uses, rather than the specificity of Everybody Edits.
If you're willing to learn viable solutions for other problems, then you're capable of applying it elsewhere.
The easiest solution to this is to break it down into more fundamental questions.
How do you store the currency/item a player has? -> How do you store a value in co-ordinance with another value?
If you searched for that, you will find people recommending using a database.

Would personally put it in files as I hate how you set up a local db in visual studio and I don't feel like running a local db on my pc and have to start that up manually everytime.
