What language do you need to learn to make a bot?

So I would like to make an EE bot, but I really don't know where to start... What programming language would I need to know? Also, do I need certain computer specs to be able to code? Because my crappy old laptop is terrible.

If you have problems or weird errors, just google it. I did that too and it works (I'm still noob :/). But if your problem is more EE. Then you can ask it here.
Don't try to do the hardest things first. You have to make small steps. So begin with the basics.

If your crappy laptop is terrible, perhaps vs is a bit extensive (citation needed, c'mon folks back me up)

I, too, had a crappy laptop that was terrible. I used SharpDevelop... but I don't remember if I actually made a bot or just used it for syntax checking. hmm.

I would also suggest that you learn C# basic stuff and how to use the compiler, before you jump in and make a bot.

I know a lot of people that just install Visual Studio C# Express. Then goes directly to Jabatheblob1 tutorials.
Then instead of learning the basics of C# they post here and ask something they could have learned before or searched on google.

If you want to make a bot, you also need to understand a bit about the Everybody Edits Protocol.

I learned coding doing many differnt things (mainly some minecraft plugins). The first thing I learned was a bit of java. No in depth things tho.
There are some great tutorials on the internet about C#. I'm still learning and probably will for a very long time but with google and the awesome tutorials here I made my first bots
