Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Stop locking threads seriously, let people share their thoughts on the subject even if it's a "pointless topic"

I see. I have been reporting these useless topics. I may be the cause of it. There are topics that some people may not care and be all sarcastic about it and then there are topics that are so useless that you just want to give up on them. Example-http://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewtopic.php?id=35024 , This guy made 2 topics, 1 for questioning and the other as an answer when this guy could have just edited op or just post the answer. It's stupid how people can't even think things through before they do it. Sure I may have been like them when I first came to the forums but that has changed. Now I actually think before doing in the forums. Now look at Homer, That guy/girl just makes a worthless topic about Player.io when he could have just seen the normal topic that Nvd made. I don't see how that lets people share their thoughts or ideas. They are just worthless.

The main problem of useless topics - Creators (usually) dont know that they are useless and meanless. We need to explain it to creators, but it is minimoding, lol.
And by saying "We need to explain it to creators" i mean really explain, but not just " HA! you so stupid, this topic is trash, why did you even create it"

Well it's not really minimodding there. It's not Flaming. You are just telling them that it's useless because [whatever] and that they should think before they do. There are specific things for specific topics.

if we don't lock "useless topics" then there's twenty posts saying how useless it is even when it could easily be a valid "non-useless" topic.
I have been reporting these useless topics. I may be the cause of it.
you probably are.
This guy made 2 topics, 1 for questioning and the other as an answer when this guy could have just edited op or just post the answer.
and yet instead of just reporting it and move on, you decided to make a useless post telling him how useless his thread is, which doesn't help anyone at all. if anything, it's annoying.

a) yes it is minimodding -- you don't need to tell them why their topic doesn't fit your standards of being "useful".
b) it is kind of flaming. and pretty rude
c) it's also spam. you typically add nothing to the discussion except "wow stop making useless posts" like ok that helps no one
tl;dr: most of the time people's thoughts are "i know this has been said so many times but this is a pointless topic!!1!!1!!!"

I'm just saying. My Opinion. There is no point of these topics and I just like to point these type of things.

Let the topic open, if nothing useful happens, just lock.
This is a false statement.

whats up with all the agressive minimodders lately
if u dont like the topic then report it thats all...
if u have the strong will to comment on OP's ignorance then [imo] that "comment" should be a minor part of your post and the major part being actually relevant and on-topic and itd be better to do that in a non-rude manner
so instead of saying "LOL NOOB WRONG SUBFORUM GTFO" you could say smth like
*on-topic stuff that contributes to the conversation*
...
also, these topics belong to the game discussion subforum
so like if you have nothing to say about the actual topic and only came to insult the op then just dont post at all
then again, the noobs have to be welcomed with edge on this forum
inb4 ill get warned for this post cus minimodding

Forums are a space for productive discussion, not spam. We don't want serious threads to be lost among a sea full of useless threads which is why we put a quality control over the content of our forums.

In your report, explain why you think the topic is useless and the mod who will close it will try to convey the message to the user in their post.
