Something should be done about all these duplicate suggestions

When I check the "game suggestions" forum, many of the new suggestion topics I see already have slightly older topics for them. How about the moderators do something before thats the only thing we can find on the front page of that forum?

What do you expect the staff to do exactly? Closing all duplicates to redirect on the first one?

Well, thats kind of how the fourm games work already.

Forum games are ongoing though, so 4 year old topics can remain. But suggestion topics are short-lived, and people will forget about them quickly.

I think keeping the suggestions into single topics makes it easier to find. Things like woots and the amount of support stays consistent, and people/staff can easily find what is popular and what isnt. With that forum we have now, suggestions tend to have a few posts, then die out like the others. I suppose the "Suggestion Masterthread" could be revived so people dont have to go searching the dark depths of the forum for past suggestions

I agree, it's so annoying to see duplicate suggestions.

There was trello that seemed orginised but I don't like it much, not sure why..
Let's stick to the forums as most official place for making suggestions and make it more orginised?

So, Suggestion masterthread is kinda useful, but that topic isn't enough visible and it's outdated.
Maybe make a visible message to the user when they click on "create new topic" that says: Please visit Suggestion MasterThread [link] before making a topic. (For game & graphics forums only duh)
Maybe also make more possible editors for that topic so it would be more up to date. GL finding people that would do that.
Creature made a to-do list for that thread, but the whole thing seems to be forgotten.

Merging the threads would be a good idea, but only if the suggestions are exactly the same.

If there are multiple threads for a single suggestion, it means players really want that suggestion added.
