use the floorplanks from your inventory to construct a bipod for the chainsaw
You may not have a chainsaw on hand, but that doesn't stop you from constructing a bipod for one. Maybe it'll come in handy later, or something. You never know when you'll need a bipod.
Used three (3) floorboards to craft one (1) bipod

Ask yourself why there seem to be so many clearly defined hints to your next action. Consider that perhaps this future is not as free as you originally thought, but that every decision you make has already been determined.
(Real talk tho - the "o look at this note that was just revealed" thing kind of defeats the purpose of having it be a story with community input, you may as well just make a real webcomic)
