Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hey man, you have to learn how to lose before you can learn how to win.
First competitions aren't always gonna go good, like my first kickboxing competition, I got kicked in the nuts.
But then I went to more competitions and I got medals/trophies ect.

Excuse me? Despite the fact Im born at sea, I love swimming. Swimming is one of the healthiest sports.
As for Anatoly: You must ask yourself this: Do you like swimming? Do you like swimming competitions? If yes then you shall continue. A man who works with passion can exceed much. Every time I go to a competition is for the atmosphere, is for getting experience and get used to that anxious sensation, which will help you very much in life.
As for your result, even the greatest sportsmen can have bad days.
Edit: Just for the fact you had the courage to participate I will give you a woot.

I'm 17 and I barely can swim. The one time where I took lessons to learn it I, as a dumb 8-year-old, almost drowned in the pool and would've died if a lovely old lady didn't rush in at Mach-2 speed to save me.
Don't give up mate, maybe sometime you might be able to save another person's life, or you know, live a wee bit longer in an eventual tragedy.

How did you fare against the other competitors? Are you training up for a national competition or something like that?
I used to be a swimmer too, I don't really have enough stamina anymore for it though
(Although, I still go and swim leisure laps in the summer)
Edit:
Like the others said, you have to practice and get good
When I first started swimming, I was really bad. And on top of that, I have been pigeon toed my whole life, with one foot pointing in more than the other. This cause me to not be able to control where I was going very well (especially in breaststroke)
But from years of practice, I was able to get good enough to place first numerous times, even with my feet the way they are

I'm curious to know your explanation as to why swimming isn't a sport
Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

the bait. also for everyone that agrees with creature, for some god-forsaken reason, swimming is one of the most physically demanding sports, since you use almost all of your muscles

My advice: Study that one specific topic a lot and balance your eating for larger breast if that is what it means for 10/10 breast

His explanation is that he tries too hard to be funny and none of his posts ever make sense.

Anyway- I swam varsity in high school! It's hard poop. If this is your first meet then you did fine! Don't worry about it, just keep going
For breaststroke anyway (I did a lot of it) you may want to talk to your coach and make sure that your form is right. That can slow you down a lot if you're doing it even slightly wrong. Make sure your head is down, etc.
