these two types of switches can be added to the currently existing ones.
the OR switch-gate/door:
when selecting the switch you insert the inputs, that connect to the OR-gate/door. the way it works is self explaining i guess. activate ANY of these switches that are part of the inputs to close/open the gate/door
the AND switch-gate/door:
when selecting the switch you insert the inputs, that connect to the AND-gate/door. activate ALL of these switches that are part of the inputs to close/open the gate/door.

additionally it would be nice to have "switches" that save the input and can only be reset, if you touch the reset switch. both - the save and reset switch - are connected to a OR or AND gate/door. the reset has dominant character.
that can be good for various things where the player does not need to know his progress of hitting right or wrong switches.
also we don't have switches yet, that save the inputs and separate switches to reset them.

it is very easy to create OR and AND gates with what we have right now, this would just make things harder for new people
I agree. Switches work at some of the most basic of all programming, so I think adding to it may mess it up.
