iDC wanted his team and world taken out of the contest and judges didn't respect his choice. Someone from 2nd place should go to 1st, from 3rd to 2nd and someone from honorable mentions to 3rd place.

How the fudge is this Spring related? Thats if i was supposed to do a geography project and i made a history one.

Why!? Constant backtracking is so annoying, i wouldnt even take the abilities if i didnt need them.

I didnt even realise i had x2 jump when i played it. And when i did i realised it is definetly NOT basic easy.

The art ruins it for me. The amount of times you have to run is tedious.

The final boss attacked me with a giant beam but i refused to die. Sound familiar? Honestly i wouldnt have solved this world if it wasnt for random jumping.

Tottaly basic easy. Mhm.

I don't have much to complain about since I didn't even try, but I do want to critique a few of the campaign worlds.

While I thought that Phina and the Roses level looked nice, I really didn't see a lot of originality in the gameplay. He/she seems to have attempted to make a level of the likes of Toop/Badoosh, but I don't think it was done as sucessfully. The entrance/exits of the text were really hard to get into. And if it wasn't apparent what to do, specifically the part where you find the location of the cave, backtracking feels long and tiresome.

And then immedietely after you got into the garden it was just a few short minis and done. I didn't really get engaged in the story at all. I thought the level was allright, just not first place alright.

I also agree with most people, I do not feel the NSFW is basic/easy, but more of a medium world. I think it's ok though because it's the last level in the campaign. You get the most rewards, and so it should be the hardest. And it's not like fractured fingers hard. A few minis can take multiple tries, but even then I don't think it would take more than 45 mins. I thought it had a really unique concept, and I'm glad it won.

Lastly, for people complaining of why Pingohits level didn't win, while it was certainly creative I thought it lacked overall. The same idea used to create the level, is the same thing I think is the reason it didn't win. Ultimately it was nothing more than a childs scrawling. I think honorable mention is exactly what it deserved.

It was exactly as hard to navigate as Spring Relics. The minigames were practically playing themselves.

FYI, for me, NSFW was third place and should probably have been honorable mention.
Frolic and Spring Thing were also way too hard and should have been honorable mention. Same goes for a Very Dank Spring (who scored 44th in my ratings because of difficulty and theme lol).

Pingohit's level should have had more spring themed art to get into the top 10 imo.
Cindy Age 6 should have placed too.

Well that’s an original level, I liked it.
I got stuck on the private server, idk if it’s fixed on the live server. (Switch n°9)
This level is really really nice, I loved the concept and the idea behind it. The gameplay is great and well thought and it is really fun. Amazing job ! The minis are all easy or basic.
The art is awesome although I don’t know why the minimap isn’t disabled. It all looks great and feel great.
The story is fun and the theme is kind of ok for me.

A cool bee story with an interesting concept.
You are a bee collecting polen for the bee hive and by doing so you unlock powerups that helps you collect more polen.
The minis are really easy but those invisible blocks are so frustrating. Preventing players from jumping to other flowers is imo a terrible choice and just ruins this level for me. I feel trapped in boxes and it’s frustrating. The checkpoints could also have been better placed – I died several times and respawned in some distant areas – the worst being after collecting the second powerup, going back to the flowers, dying to the spikes and respawning inside the beehive. The gold coins minis should also feature checkpoints to be less frustrating even though they’re easy.
The art is otherwise awesome, that beehive is simply gorgeous and really makes me want to draw one too, which is awesome. Congratz ont this. It is a bit eyeraping though.
The story could have a been a little bit more explained, but is ok nevertheless.

This is a nice level. The minigames are perfect: fluid, basic-easy, fun. The only downside is that there are some coins that are too well hidden, there is one suicide-coin and one hook-jump, making this a bit boring.
The art is really nice but I don’t understand why the team kept the empty bg for the “underground” part, which makes the level look a bit weird. It’s nevertheless good looking: the sky is awesome, the dirt is pretty, the flora is great.
The story is not really important, you just go on an adventure, collecting coins on your way. And that’s a bit problematic: I don’t really see the connection with spring – besides that there’s green. This level could have had an amazing story, that’s too bad.

What a cute level! It’s probably one of my favorite. The minigames are nice and exploring the level is really fun. The tree part feels a bit boring near the end but it’s no big deal. Jumping from cloud to cloud was sorta scary and fun.
The minimap art is fantastic, the grass shading is gorgeous and the animals are really good looking. The clouds are amazing and inspiring for art. The leaves shading could have been a bit less messy. Everything minimap-related is great.
In-game works well for the animals, but is quite messy for the leaves part.
The minis feel connected to the art most of the time.
Fantastic job here !

Yay I found the relics !
The minis in this levels are very basic, but it’s fuuuulll of invisible blocks.
The relics can also be missed if you fail your double jump, and I missed one and almost missed another. Hopefuly I was able to start over but this can be very problematic and should definitely be fixed.
The level otherwise is fun, a bit short.
The art can be eyeraping in some area because of all the details. It’s really good-looking tho.
The story is about winter wanting to take over spring and it’s fun.

This level is really nice.
The player starts with the double jump effect and has to go through many minis designed for this effect. The minis are really nice, but mostly easy-medium difficulty, and some are just medium. That’s a shame because these minis are great !
The art is really nice too, I loved the horses, ponies, unicorns?
Ingame art feels great and so does the minimap art. Well done.

Soooo, a long not-so-Easter-themed-or-is-it level.
This level features Easy-medium difficulty minis that are all well-polished but too hard for the aimed difficulty. All the minis play very well though and are fun. The path, on the other hand, is quite difficult to understand, it is really easy to miss something, and having to redo the minis several times is not funny. Also, you have to listen to that way too long song to get to the ending. Make it skippable pls.
The art is amazing, the sky is gorgeous, the dirt is awesome, and everything feel very pretty. Except for the tree, way too eyeraping in-game sadly.
The story is fun, you’ve got to find lost notes of a composer who wants to write a song for Easter, and those notes were stolen by the evil Easter Bunny. You have to explore the level and find the eggs where he hid them.
The theme really feels more Easter-themed than Spring themed sadly. Also, I’d have expected a sunrise for spring, and not a sunset – more fitted for Autumn.

This levels features a really nice concept: You pick a pokemon an animal among three and evolve them by collecting coins in three different areas. Each animal gets a special ability once they reach level 2 allowing you to play the area quite differently.
I’m really fond of the idea, and it plays well.
The minis are all really simple, the rhinos are awesome, the coins are easy and fun to get, evolving the animal is fun, you get 9 different endings, one for each animal.
The art is ok-ish and could have been better but it is still quite charming, I enjoyed it.
There’s no real story besides “evolve your animal”. Sadly, the theme is kind of absent and it does not feel really springy.

Well that’s a hard level.
The gameplay concept is simple: It’s a race against time to finish each mini before dying from the curse. The minis are quite easy but the curse make them really difficult. You can exploit some of them (the ice loop) and some of them are frustrating (the double-jump dot-lines). The difficulty is all over the place and not fitting for this contest. The concept was nice otherwise.
The art is ok in-game but not really appealing on the minimap – that should probably have been disabled. You can’t really appreciate anything you see because you have to move quickly to advance.

One of my favorite levels of this contest!
The minigames are all easy with some minis that are a bit harder (especially for the blue coins). This level has side-quests, secrets, music, and an overall great RPG feeling.
It has a feeling of adventure and discovery, each town feels unique and charming, thanks to the mindblowing in-game art. The minimap art is great too, although with so many things it feels a bit… crowded.
The story is cute, even though the end is a bit disappointing. I really enjoyed talking to all these people. The side-quests are fun.
The them feel a bit disconnected from spring but spring is definitely in this level spirit, quoted many times by the inhabitant of the towns, and you can feel it with the snow going away or the “pink trees”.
There’s not much more to say, it’s an awesome world, amazing work!

Now that’s an amazing level !
The mini, although being a bit repetitive, are fun. They’re really easy and yet somewhat innovative. The pathing is a bit weird but definitely ok since it is quite easy to walk around the level.
The art, both in-game and on the minimap, is awesome and engaging, and has great immersion.
The story, however, feels disconnected from spring. I understand that it’s about rebirth – and so is spring – but it’s not that obvious that you’re talking about spring, which is a downside.

Uh, wait, hi! So, uh, I was supposed to be reviewing and judging some EE levels but I started playing this awesome RPG called “Phina and the Rose” and… Well, let me tell you about it – I’m tired of talking about EE.
This RPG is about a girl who wants to save her mother and goes on a quest about finding a rose that could heal her mother. She looks for a forest where this mystical rose is hidden.
To get there, the players travels to the Castle’s town asking about how to get to the forest. All the challenges in this game are quite easy, and it is more about talking to people and doing some small side-quests to help people than going through challenges.
Everything in this game is gorgeous, amazing, it’s so pretty. From the castle to the town, from the forest to the village and its surroundings, everything is well.
And guess what?
YOU TOO can play this RPG, because this RPG is in EE! And to this I say woooow.
Amazing work, amazing level. Great job.

So that’s the infamous “NSFW Level” eh? Here we go for the bashing review.
The minis in this level are all really polished and quite simple to execute. They also are fun and entertaining while being challenging while remaining easy. The thing is, some of them are quite confusing to understand, raising the difficulty. The flowers help, yes, but I don’t think they work for most of the minis. The pathing is nicely done, exploring different parts of the level is fun. The blue coins, however, are just extremely hard to find and it really is annoying to have such difficulty in an easy level. The side-quest by itself started ok – although it might have been much better to tell players that the statues hold a secret – but became ridiculously hard and cryptic after getting the key, making this level way too hard.
The in-game art is awesome even if the flowers that are here to help are off-topic sometimes. The minimap art is awesome. Not much to say about it.
The story is fun and does its job. The theme is well executed.

I thought it was about the transition from winter to spring and you end up in spring, which was fine to me.
I probably rated its theme too high tho thinking about it. It was going to end up in honorable mentions for me anyway so it didn't mattered since honorable mentions could be off-topic.
