You guys were completely right.

I made a very poor judgement call and I severely regret it. Zioxei has been demodded ( info: http://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewtopic.php?id=34477 ) and will be replaced with a new one very soon.

My previous comments still stand. I wanted to give him a chance, but he was ever so quick to mess it up.

Lesson learned. I'll admit a mistake when I make one.

I'm sure Lickagoat don't want to be a moderator because he don't even talk and for anothers reasons. Bee is also busy and there is a long time I don't see her.

Also I don't know if this is up for debate, but what about nlmjdonge? I'm not his hugest fan, but he did win the eelections. Surely that has some merit.

I appreciate that you thought of me in this context, Calicara. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd be a suitable candidate, primarily because I barely play the game nowadays. Most of my daily visits are just to keep the 'days in a row' going and to get the associated gems. Playing through the levels posted on the Rooms board rarely takes up more than a few minutes. The occasional peaks, for instance when I'll be going through the winning Spring contest levels, probably won't make up for my general absence either. Also, I'm not sure if I'd be willing to put effort into looking through and judging, for instance, the textual reports. It doesn't seem like a pleasant activity and I don't feel motivated to invest my free time into helping Nou and his buddies. I mean, how much feedback do we really get from the staff to, for instance, our game suggestions. I can barely even get the staff to reply to my private messages. If anything, the overall lack of dialogue gives me the impression that Nou doesn't like me that much. I like the game quite a lot, but doing volunteer work to - among other things - help out Nou; I'll pass. But yes, to me, asking someone like me (e.g. not too young, relatively serious, fairly thoughtful, a regular, still around after years, not engaged in any feuds, etc.), makes sense. Maybe it's my occasional criticism of the staff's actions that makes the idea of working with me unappealing to them. But who knows, really, there's quite a bit of one-way traffic.

When I sort this forum's user list by number of posts (descending) and go through the first two pages, I see more than a dozen players who would probably make fine moderators. The staff could make a selection of 5-10 of these players, first ask if these players would be up for it, then ask us to private message feedback; whether there are any clear objections and such. Then they could make a final selection of 2-3 new moderators themselves. Such a procedure would not be a full-on popularity contest, it's merely a multi-step approach to get a bit of additional input/perspectives.

okay so um i've been away for most of the day and just got home and...

i don't know. like, if there's a lot of outrage from the community, it might be a good idea to at least closely examine WHY people are saying things, and not just assume it's us being ragey for the sake of being ragey -- even though i gotta admit that IS pretty common for EE. you can easily find ppl who will vouch for ppl's characters, and just a bit of digging can show stuff about someone. like, background screening. if that makes sense.

as for nou's apology -- i'm proud of you. from a business standpoint, it shows humility and that you're not afraid to admit you make mistakes. it gains the favor of the public, especially when you screw up this bad. it's a very Adult thing to do and... good job, i guess.

but yeah idk. i kinda expected some sort of mess, but not this soon and definitely not clearing a campaign world.

as for whether or not we actually need a third mod. i don't know that either but i seriously hope that if we do, it's someone who's not likely to screw up this bad. hopefully you've learned to give some serious thought when a lot of ppl are disagreeing. not to say that i don't think you put zero thought into the choices, but... yeah idk
