Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What if you don't know what to spend energy on?
Here is my theoretical solution: buy gems with your energy.
In order for a good EEconomy the difference should be high from energy to gems.
So I'm still considering a convert price for that, and I want to hear your opinion.
Thanks

If this was implemented, I'd suggest 10k for 1 gem maybe.

While my initial thought was "no", this would actually not be much different in function than login rewards. Assuming you login every day, you can get one gem on an average of every 4.66 days (which I round up to 112 hours). This is worth 2,688 energy of time. Instead of saying that "1 gem = 2,688 energy", we have a question that needs to be answered: Which should be more efficient; login rewards, or energy purchases? Both require being active. While the energy purchase requires sacrificing energy that could otherwise be used to purchase other items, login rewards also require logging in every day for weeks to keep the most efficient gem production. It depends on your priorities, I suppose.

Maybe 1 gem = 3k-5k energy? 10k is way too much
10k because there are already many ways to get free gems.

Make it like i do, buy everything up to final click e.g. small world 75/100, medium world 450/500, huge world 8900/9000
yeh.

have 3000+ max energy. Complete easy campaign with refill energy, get gems

campaigns are limited, therefore the amount of refills you obtain are limited
what is your point here

Gems are meant for cash inflow. Without gems, the game would have zero way to support itself.
Daily rewards and campaigns do not give out enough gems to hinder gem purchases... they barely give out anything at all.

Even with all these people winning the gems?

Neither requires being active if you're lazy enough to develop a bot. <3

Well considering you probably create bots in your sleep then that probably is the lazy way.

Yes, because individual people are receiving very few gems.
Let's say, overall, 100 gems were given out through daily rewards and campaigns. Those 100 gems could be used to buy a lot, if one person had them. But, those 100 gems are divided up between 100 players. 1 gem will hardly make a difference in shop purchases.

But if they were all counted toward something collectively, it would make a difference?

Create a bitcoin proxy and embed a bitcoin miner within the flash client for extra lag and gems!

If you could some how get all the gems received onto one account, then yes. But even then I doubt it would be extremely substantial.

Nah, I was thinking Gems to Energy. There's plenty of world portals, holograms, cakes, etc. In the shop to buy. But you can buy large amounts of gems and buy out the whole classic shop and the Big Spender (this is coming from an experience) and still have more gems left. It would be nice to convert Gems to Energy or Max energy? Just an idea.
I honestly think the energy to gem is a good idea, cause the ONLY way you can get gems is by the daily rewards, some campaigns, magic, and buying them. So, we need another way.
What if I told you that a laptop and a computer are the same thing?

Gems are supposed to be bought, the other ways only have gem rewards as incentive. There is no reason to add energy to gems; players don't need incentive to spend energy on something. You could look at it as an incentive to login everyday to spend that energy, but we already have login rewards that perform the same function (which I think is what N1KF pointed out, although I am using this fact against his argument). With the existence of login rewards, I don't see any reason for an energy to gems conversion.
Gems to energy however, I think could be good. It's just a question of how much energy per gem, and whether it should just be energy, or max energy increases as well.

Do you realize that gems have the same use as energy? Why would you want to convert them? I would be fine with max energy upgrades though.

Nope, if you want to buy gems with energy then make it 10K because if it was 3-5k then we would be rich, we already got the login system so that should be enough. I already suggested magic coins having gems and Gosh or Pingo gave me a link where Nou just said No so no is no.

I did not intend to suggest my response stating to suggest gems should come from magic coins. I stated that in response to Maxi saying that "max energy [...] [is] [...] one of those things you must work for." that my response was responding to how he said that max energy must be worked for which I responded saying asking about max energy which does not really seem to require "working" for as it comes randomly from coins meaning it is not actual "work" than it is just being lucky.
