Civilization V thread

I've been playing Civ a lot lately, and was wondering if anyone here played it. So long as you have all the DLC (Mainly Brave New World), we can set up a game sometime. I'm usually on #eeforums so you can just query me there if you're interested.

I had a pirated copy with all of the expansions, but I bunged it up about 6 months ago.

Good thing too, otherwise I'd be spending all my time playing it. It's a fun game.

I've played one singleplayer game of it, and it was fairly easy. I once tried a multiplayer game but the server failed. I don't have it installed on my computer anymore, but if enough people are interested in playing it then I wouldn't mind playing it with you guys.

Singleplayer is bad. The AI is stupid no matter what difficulty you're on and after prince they just give the AI unfair advantages.

Anyways I can host a game if we can get enough people. I'd go for at least 4 people to do this, and I'd not allow anyone to play Babylon Korea or Poland because those civs are OP.

I have civ V on steam! All versions too!

I used to play civ II gold and civ IV when I was younger on discs. It's a really fun game, and I pretty much mastered it, but needless to say it does get boring when everyone quits in multiplayer xD

I do agree AI are kinda easy for the first 6 difficulties. I play on difficulty 7 in singleplayer just to challenge myself lol. Diff 8 make AI way too overpowered.

And about the OP civs... Poland isn't an OP civ unless your playing when their special unit is the most modern unit.

Even though spawns are random, in the right situations any civ can be pretty OP.
