I was gonna write some Japanese here but my IME stopped working on me.
Awful jokes aside, I think the language is really neat (and wish I had the time management skills to make myself relearn it) and the food is phenomenal, but expensive here in the US. Culture tax, mainly. There's a great Japanese restaurant about 20 minutes from my university (so, like, an hour and a half or more by bus) that serves the most authentic Japanese noodles and katsu.
I hate tall signatures.
