Everybody Edits is a melting pot of people. We have people here from all over the world, each one with their own story to tell, and each their own beliefs.

When our founding father, King Chris Benjaminsen The Great, departed from his throne -- he advised us into the future. He set forth guidelines which we should follow to insure that we do not fail as a country. One of them being, do not fall to a bicameral house of government. That's exactly what we are doing. We are giving into the noubs and benjaminsons, believing they know best for Everistan. That's not the case. The two parties have become twisted. They have completely different beliefs, and the only thing that is ever accomplished between them, is arguing. As an independent, I sit in the middle of their beliefs. I share the ideology of both parties, and the same goes for the other independents.

It is with this image, that I am glad to be standing here today announcing this: Pingohits, Bimps, and myself will be forming an alliance throughout the primary campaigning. In the end, it will not matter which one of us reaches the finely painted shed -- what will matter is that not a noub, or a benjaminson, will be there.

My $1.50 Flat-Rate Pay-To-Play Fee

The economy in Everistan has been on the decline ever since MrShoe took over a few years ago. He abused out tax dollars, and soaked the country for everything it had. He introduced a tax plan called Builders Club. By the end of MrShoe's rein, only the rich could afford this tax plan.

A new leader comes in, the tyrannical Nou -- he introduces a very simmilar plan titled Gold Membership. This plan, too, will fail to support the ecconomy of Everistan.

I have a plan that is sure to work. This plan will have Everistan's economy booming in less than a year. People will back on their feet, population will be up, and work output will be higher. I call it the Everybody Edits Beginners Flat-Rate Pay-to-Play Tax (EEBFRPPT). This tax is a flat-rate $1.50 (USD) payment upon entering the country. When you pay that fee, you get access to every block, every smiley, one word of each size... except classic items. The classical items will remain up for sale as cash only. I know, this is a horrible idea; the people who can't afford the classical items will feel left out, betrayed on, and maybe even discouraged. Unfortunately, the Everistan economy still needs a driving force.

There are approxamately 1000 players online every day. If every person paid their tax, that's $1500 dollars in ciculation that goes towards fixing our broken roads, graphics, etc. Approxamately 5000 players every month. That's $45000 dollars in circulation.

That is a substantially more than what the game is making now.

This is great right? Well it's useless unless you vote someone into office that will use the tax money for it's intended use. That's why you should vote me into office.

My STEAM Tax
With Everistan moving to steam power, a tax could be implemented. A flat-rate pay-to-play steam tax could be issued, which would bring in around the same tax dollars as the other plan.

Bots are wonderful, and what people can do with them is amazing! Everybody can have a more dynamic experience.
There should be added easier campaigns too. We should have diversity in everything!
We must keep improving but without damaging the core of this game!

As stated in the current government's vision for the future, there will be block and smiley packs that citizens may purchase to obtain all current blocks and smileys (besides the Big Spender and diamond block I presume). Your only original idea with the EEBFRPPT is to give one of each world size. I think this is a bad idea, because I think players should get (at least some of) these for free. The current system gives players only two choices for world building—a home world, and the rented open worlds (though nobody uses these). While a small world can be purchased immediately after registration, it is very small and offers little freedom for building. The ideal solution would be to automatically give players a reasonably-sized (maybe 200×world upon registering a personal account to Everistan, the re-addition of unsaved worlds, the improvement of open worlds, as well as completion of the government's plans for full block/smiley packs.

Do we really need more taxes? Everistan has a relatively stable economy. I think the government has enough money to sustains itself and all its internal worlds. While perhaps I do not know the exact economic statistics, the fact that the Chris Benjamensin, the first leader, revealed to have received about $10,000 in tax revenue a month says a lot. Unless I am missing something, you seem to have ignored my point about smiley and block purchases being added, which would fit the same role you stated the EEBFRPPT would. While more ways for the government to voluntarily gain taxes would be nice, I kind of feel that your idea in concept is flawed.
