Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Permanent coins

This seems like a really obvious suggestion but I did throughly search the forums and didn't find anything similar, so here it goes.

Exactly as the title says; a coin that once collected is "stored" in your game data and it will always count as "obtained" even if you quit and rejoin, or even if you go on a mysthical trip to the jungles of Peru and return to the game 3 years later.
Actually, that'd probably be too much strain on the server. Maybe reset the coin data after a certain time, like 2 weeks? Also have a limit of like, 20 coins or something at once.

Re: Permanent coins

What would happen if thousands of player got a bunch of coins, then that coin was removed? I would imagine that would cause lots of lag.

i would eggspect the data to be stored until that player comes back into the level

if it was removed while the player was still in the world, i believe ee servers could handle it since levels barely pass the 25 player mark

Re: Permanent coins

Also I would like to add that only having permanent coins might not be the best idea. I think having permanent switches in addition (or just save points, as iPwner suggested) would make this a lot more useful.

Re: Permanent coins

It can be done for levels that aren't going to be modified anymore, like campaigns. Just make every coin have a number and a bit to make it collected
