Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So a lot of EE players are now "grown" up and off to college! I know many people's majors already and minors but I want to see what everyone else has chosen!
I am going to Oregon State University for Computer Science.

We don't do majors in the UK (I've never understood them either)
We instead do A Levels or BTECs, so I'm doing A Level English language and music tech, and BTEC graphic design. (That is, if I pass all my GCSEs first)
I'm a music performance major and I'm adding a minor of film and TV studies (production/scriptwriting/business)

I guess that it's just because of the nature of this place. There's a big programming niche here, not to mention that gaming communities in general do attract the IT type of guy.
And also is it just me or do, like, most of teenagers/young adults in general go for IT-related careers in college/uni? Not sure if it's just specifically where I live but this field is growing fast and even people who've just played a bunch of FPS games are choosing it.

That is unfortunately the case. I've looked at far too many incompetent people with bachelors of compsci who have a hard time with even the simplest of FizzBuzz.
