Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Add an invisible block. Each time you enter it , it records it.
There are 2 options in this block:
* Id
* operator
Id from 0 to 99
and only 2 operators "+" and "-"
Each time you enter the block, it records it in a value that you can output on sign
like %value2% (2 is ID)
You was at home %value2% times

I really like this idea. But instead of adding/subtracting one at a time, you could add or subtract any number from it. Instead of "operator", it could be changed to "add". To use subtraction, negative numbers could be typed in the area. Maybe there could also be an option not to allow the number to go negative?

I just like adding little counting-programming things to EE
I created 8-bit calculator and the hardest thing was Convertor from Binary to Decimal. Because i did a very fast calculator, and this convertor ruins everything.
With this idea it is easier to do this convertor
And, i think adding doors would be cooler
