Certain acronyms that contain swear words—anybody can just look them up so having censors in the first place is pointless
A certain word that starts with A—even the forum censors it

If the first is too much I suppose there could be an option to turn that off in particular.

Why is this not a valid request? It is attempt to help the staff (or at least the previous staff's) vision of a more family-friendly game that a wider audience can enjoy. It is also optional, so it will not affect you if you do not want it to. You, plus several others seem to shrug this suggestion off without consideration, simply because of how absurd you may think it is at face value. If you have an objection to this, please state why instead of assuming I will automatically know.

Some would consider the word offensive, however. If there is a purely optional censor I am not sure what the problem is.

because "shut up" is a total of 7 characters including the space, whereas "stfu" is only 4.

as a result, if the person writes "Shut up" instead of "stfu" he put in more effort to convey the same message to you, and that in itself is insulting

It should not be allowed, according to the rules, as apparent by how direct it is about this. Any moderator that says otherwise is not fixing the actual problem by improving the rules.

As for the former suggestion, I made it not because I was offending by the chat itself; rather, I was offended that the staff did not properly enforce the rules.

As for the latter suggestion, it is a bit more of a personal preference, but my question is why did the staff remove that censor?

Chats with acronyms do not contain swearing. They contain implied swearing. Should I be warned for implying that you should go do something physically impossible to yourself? It contains just as much swearing as an acronym, with even more offensive implications.
