Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Birthday Hats

This idea takes a while to explain, so bear with me. Dunno if it's even a good idea, but... Currently, there is a party "Cake" action block that changes players who touch it into smilies with hats. First, get rid of that block. Then, start asking players who register for their birthday. Month and day only, just like this overview. Add a small text on the registration page that explains why the game asks - I'll explain why later in this post. Also, for old players who didn't get to enter this information, either give them a one-time pop-up or a one-time input field on the Settings screen. In the Shop, add a (50) gems-only item that can be used to change the birthday and -month once. Next, when it is a player's birthday, automatically give them a birthday hat when they enter levels. This birthday hat is a new kind of hat that is clearly distinct from the other, currently used hats. Finally, if the player with the distinct birthday hat - the person who actually has his or her birthday - touches other players, these players get one of the currently used hats; non-removable, until they leave the level. Of course, any of the aspects of this suggestion could be changed if that would make it better. Maybe if you put your mouse cursor on a hat it'll say which player gave out that hat.

You mean 'once a year', for 50 gems?
Yeah, why not; I wrote just "once" because I saw the username can also only be changed once.
I think if you need to change your birthday more than once, clearly you're just screwing around.

Re: Birthday Hats

This is overall a very good idea. I like it.

Talking about smilies from action blocks, why is there a single diamond smiley that recolors the first basic smiling one?

Like the cake gives random smileys from the four, let the diamond give a random one from these:

Also, just like Beta gives a bunch of smilies, give the users that bought a diamond, the upper shown smilies as stand alones.

Why not the scared smiley?

@N1KF

Old picture, the scared smiley wasn't part of the basic smileys back then.
