How to repair fan

I need help urgently

I accidentally tripped and ripped off a fan wire on my parents bedroom. I have to dismount my fan so I can connect the two wires together, but I am afraid I can't use duct tape or I end connecting it badly.

Anyone know how to repair this?

The wires would probably be fixed using a screw, no need for tape.

well, electrical tape and ... be careful?
Be extra certain you have the right wire... don't connect two unlike wires lol

if you need to, strip the coating off the wire for more contact.

First off, use electrical tape, not duct tape.
Second, that fan is pretty much screwed. May as well tell someone about it now before you get in more trouble than you're already in.
