Counter Strike: Global Offense

I'm aware there was a topic made for this before, but it turned into a trash can.

I've been playing this quite a bit lately. In the last week I've played ~20 hours.

I would like the game even more if there wasn't so many auto-aim hacks. Or if I had a steam controller.

I want to play a level other than Dust II; my kind-of-boyfriend has got me into playing it - so I played 8 hours yesterday and tallied up just over under 500 kills on my Valentines Azimov P90 •.

People's ability to just play Dust II indefinitely amazes me.

I still prefer TF2 for sure

Dust II and Office. Those are the two main maps people stick to.

I can play the Dust maps if I'm playing with people who play as a team, rather than going at it solo.

At least in TF2 you can get a cool hat for all of your money, but in CS:GO you just get a small knife.

I'm really bad with knifes.

I like to clear rooms with pistols, or set up with a scope.

I've got Source but not GO.

I really don't play enough CS to justify the purchase, either. I'm no good.

I have around 40 hours logged in CS:GO on Steam (mostly on idle servers tbh) but I'm just not good at it at all.
TF2 is pretty much the only FPS shooter game I can play. The Counter-Strike type of FPS where you must react and aim immediately to anything unusual on your sight just isn't for me.

the game is actually called Counter Dust2: Dust2 Offensive now because that's the only thing anybody plays

I like how you can die from 1 shot from any weapon, unlike most FPS where you can tank through some headshots - they just take away more HP.

That's the thing that makes CS:GO one of the more challenging games, the TTK is short and ridiculous at times, but that's what makes CS:GO its own thing.

If you buy head gear then you can usually take 2-3 shots before dying.

Body shots, you can take several. But it's fairly realistic. Someone who is shot 4 times isn't likely to still be firing back.

I think some of the guns have a really dumb amount of recoil.

Anyone else play it with one? Or does everyone use the keyboard and mouse?

Basically all I do in CS:GO is surf so yeah.

I don't know anyone who would prefer to play any FPS game with a controller, over keyboard and mouse.
