The Decathlon | Game 1 - Signups (11/12)

Instructions

You'll get certain initial trait points and will have to vote on what kind of challenge you want. Try to not look like your trait point is high.
After the votation is done, you can use a token on someone or yourself. Try to fish who has the highest trait points.
Your goal is have the highest trait points possible. Incase of ties, the one who had fewer trait points last event will have the advantage.
The player with the fewest points will be eliminated. Incase of ties, the one who got the most points last event will survive.
The last survivor wins.

Traits

Traits will be factors that will determine everyone's place in each event.
The traits are:
Strength
Agility
Resistance
Focus
Nobody will be more overpowered or underpowered, the trait points summed together will always be 200. Strength + Agility = Resistance + Focus = 100.
You might think you're powerful at something, but here's the catch: Someone can steal your trait points and give you something weaker, so watch out to make sure you'll get good trait points.

Possibly trait combinations you might get (no, you can't choose, pray for RNG). Too lazy to name the role cards:

▼Tokens/Commands

You can use your token one time before an event in a specific trait type, changing someone's trait. You can use these two powers:

Inverter: Inverts someone's trait, if they're good at something, they'll be bad, if they're bad, they'll be good. Example: If he has 70 traits points, he'll have 30 trait points (100-70). You can't use it on yourself.
Swapper: Changes someone's trait with someone else's trait. You can use it on yourself with someone else.

You can also get a special token:
Immunity: Every token used on you besides yours won't affect.

The order of each token use in an event will be RNGed.

Events

Players must vote for an event publicly in this thread.
Events will determine how much points you'll gain. Depending on your rank, you'll get a certain ammount of points.
Each event will focus on a certain trait (or more than one trait). So the final results will be based on the ammount of trait points everybody has.
There's a total of 20 events (13 main, 4 team, 3 special)

▼Main Event

A main event is individual and each player will get a rank at the end.
Example:
1. 25 points
2. 20 points
3. 17 points
4. 15 points
5. 12 points
6. 10 points
7. 7 points
8. 5 points
9. 3 points
10. 2 points
11. 1 point
12. 0 points

At the end of each main event, the player with the fewest points will be eliminated (with the exception of the first and the last three events).

▼Special Event

These events are most a reward, it doesn't include elimination at all. Rewards might include:
- Some points to the top players.
- Tokens.

▼Team Event

When an even ammount of players left is hit (with the exception of 12 and 2), there will have a team event. In a team event, everyone's trait points are calculated and summed together. The team with the most points will have the players in it get some additional points.

EDIT: From what I see, the 70 | 30 | 65 | 35 stats will just breeze through the first rounds, while the 20/25s of 2 categories get eliminated
EDIT 2: Unless they get specifically targeted with tokens to get reduced values
Actually 80-20 are OP, because if you have 20 you can just swap it out, and the 55-45 on the other stat lets you stay relatively safe
EDIT 3: leaderboards scores aren't exactlybalanced (see chart below, not taking tokens into account, because they cancel out in the long term)

For 2 complementary categories:
(80-20): 25+0 = 25points
(75-25): 20+1 = 21points
(70-30): 17+2 = 19points
(65-35): 15+3 = 18points
(60-40): 12+5 = 17points
(55-45): 10+7 = 17points

All 4 categories (sum of opposite ends of chart above):
80-20-55-45: 25+17 = 42points
75-25-60-40: 21+17 = 38points
70-30-65-35: 19+18 = 37points
^ All 12 players go in one of these 3cases

This is why there are tokens. If you got a pretty weak trait, you can swap it with someone. Just watch out to not get a 20.

P.S: You can only swap/invert one specific trait per event. You're not forced to swap/invert the trait that the next event will be focused on, if you feel like you're happy with your trait points. Also, you can swap between two players, not just yourself.

Btw, will we get some info on what tokens affected us at the end of the turn, and the order (in PM of course, don't want everything to go public)?

Well, you'll only know what are your new trait points, but you won't know what were used against you.

Wait, does that mean we keep the new traits? I misunderstood that part, thought the changes were effective only for the current turn, in which case my edits above are now invalid, since you can end up with pretty much everything.

reduce the number of players to 9? remove the 4 stats containing the 80/20 and put up a 50/50/50/50?
