Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Re: GIF

While it is theoretically possible that the mods might remove all gifs from all signatures, there is a workaround. Just go to https://forums.everybodyedits.com/profi … lay&id=917 and deselect "Show images in user signatures." This will hide all images, including gifs.

Re: GIF

Or, under the "Display" profile page, there could be an option to turn animated images off.

Re: GIF

Because of the way the world wide web works, this is not possible, unless if we host the images ourselves which we wont do.

I have never thought of programming for reputation and honor. What I have in my heart must come out. That is the reason why I code.

That's the way this site works, every site has it's way to work, just deal with it.

Re: GIF

you can just disable it on display settings at your profile, the cookies of this change will only be stores on your phone, so you don't need to change the options when you go to computer to phone

The site doesn't store settings in cookies, it stores it in the database attached to your user account.

No, really, there is a way, it just requires access to the PHP scripts, which almost noone has to, except some of the staff

Re: GIF

well, could you get a fancy byte-array stream going in HTML5 and then check for whatever signature an animated gif would have?

Seems a bit advanced for us plebians tho
