but for those worlds the map is disabled for a reason.
i guess if the owner needs to see something but does not want to turn the map back on.

no,it can be used for specially themed levels so you can see the minimap once or something

Might make it slightly more complicated, but it would help level creators. When creating the block, would the menu show a "cropping" thing where you crop out the desired part of the minimap?

A block that shows the minimap when touched, similar to the sign. This would be useful for worlds where the minimap is disabled.

There was a post or a thread where we discussed showing only part of the map, but I cannot find it.
It's related/similar, because it included a suggestion to use a new type of block to seal off and unveil map sections.
I have permanently left the game and forum.
EE is an entertaining game and I enjoyed playing it...
...but it's time for me to move on.
