I haven't because the ads are dumb looking and annoying. Seems like a generic no-effort app where they just smashed 2 random things together as a gimmick and just level you up for grinding for 5 hours to keep you hooked.

The ads represent nothing of the original app. I also was turned off and thought was a dumb app... But if you get to know what there is to know, you'll be hooked.
As for the ad I'm assuming the one on the train with the silly-looking people? I hate that ad and it doesn't represent the game at all.
It plays nothing like Candy Crush or Bejeweled - entirely different. Give it a try!

Haven't seen a train ad. The only as I remember was one with a generic looking match the color puzzle game in the background, rotated to enhance extremeness, while pictures of dragons and text scrolled by in the foreground. Every bit of it screamed "THIS IS ABOUT AS GENERIC A GAME AS YOU WILL EVER FIND. THERE ARE EXACTLY 0 ORIGINAL IDEAS IN THIS GAME. WE MADE IT BECAUSE WE KNOW YOU LIKE GAMES LIKE THIS SO WE THOUGHT WE'D MAKE ONE EXACTLY HOW YOU LIKE IT WITH ONLY MINOR MODIFICATIONS THAT MAKES IT TOTALLY NEW RIGHT GUYS COME ON GUYS PLAY OUR GAME THAT THERE ARE ALREADY THOUSANDS OF." At least that's the vibe I got off of it.

The marketing team sucks tbh xD
There aren't many apps out there that have over 2,500 monster types (each with their own artwork!) with strategy constantly being embedded within its gameplay.
Just curious, any examples of games that play like PAD?
