It's time for the player reviews!

Whoa, 533 posts were made. I believe that the fact that I forced everyone to post at least once a day contributed towards making this the most active mafia game so far.
With four days, the game was shorter than I hoped it to be (with random votes, town had a 69% chance of lynching at least one mafia) but I am still very satisfied with the result. Everyone's play was better compared to the last two games.

▼Citizens

Who were the 6 most inactive users in D1? (Especially in the first 24 hours into the game)
They were all citizens! In fact, the 4 users I had to prod in that day were were citizens. You could blame the PRs for talking too much, but it would be a lot better if you talked more and brought the attention to yourselves.
As a citizen, you should try to look important, and make the mafia want you dead. Act as the meat shield for your PRs because they give town a big advantage.

The citizens' lack of contribution was probably the main reason you were kill N1. You made a few good points while you were alive.

In private, you told me that you were suspecious of both RhazzleFrazzle and Anak. This was probably the most accurate tell on D1. Your other read on Zoey was also pretty good.
You made the decision to kidnap RhazzleFrazzle. It was a great move, but not for the reasons you thought (you thought he was scum), but it was still a great move.

It's a shame that you didn't survive for long, you had a great start in Mafia 2 too, but ended up with the same fate. I hope to see more from you in the next game.

Too inactive. You had good contributions when you bothered to talk, but for the most part of the game you were very silent. You caused one of the two mislynches that caused town to lose the game.
It is unfortunate that you weren't given a chance to defend yourself but you could have prevented the accusations alltegther by being a little more active.

Your nolynch vote was dumb.

You have more experience playing Mafia than anyone else on the forums but you had a hard time adapting yourself to the meta (or the lack thereof) and this led to you getting almost lynched D2.
It turns out that messing with everyone doesn't help gaining supporters, not on EE forums.

You didn't take the first few votes on your wagon seriously. That eventually forced you to resort to a hardclaim. (See #197)
Your reads weren't always accurate either: You were too easy on Hostage, blinding yourself of his misplays because of his lack of experience.

The point about morality (see #209) wasn't too believable but your general tips helped the town with their arguments. Your readslist was followed by everyone else posting their reads as well, great contribution there!
The argument you had with Pyromaniac was very silly, but you correctly interpreted it as a townie being VI.
You had a great influence on the discussion by forcing people to speak for themselves.

The sudden change of attitude towards ZeldaXD was pretty unexpected. ZeldaXD was lynched without a chance to speak, you could have prevented it going that far.

In the night before you were killed, you made the decision to shoot Onjit. I would argue that it would be smarter to discuss this decison with town in daylight, given that you already had hardclaimed your role at that point.
As silly as it may sound, it might have been better for town to lynch you instead of the innocent ZeldaXD.

Despite the fact that all your actions were well-meant, you had the most negative impact on town, by causing the death of 2-3 town members.

Pretty silent at first, but you made some good points on the second day.
You also noticed how the three mafia members were very slient at the end of day 2 (see #364).
Too bad you weren't able to convice RhazzleFrazzle of your innocence.

You never had the chance to use your cop ability. What a shame. Good contributions, active player.
You were great at avoiding heat from town members. Unfortunately, this caused you to fall victim to the mafia.

It's unfortunate that you had to leave so early, a lot of town members didn't appriciate your lack of contribution. I liked that you stepped back from your vote to protect RhazzleFrazzle from getting lynched.

You had trouble convincing people of your role because of your ancestor.
You made good contributions. However you got played in the hands of mafia and they were able to talk three town members into voting for you.

You made good contributions and had great ideas. You were rather passive compared to others, but you were able to defend your opinion if you disliked the flow of the game.

The accusation graph was useless but funny. You broke two rules, you were prodded twice! So bad.

Inactive from time to time, but you were very productive when you contributed.

Getting offended because of an actual mafia term was silly. In the long term however, it proved your innocence.

You had a good start, and good ideas here and there, but over time, you became less and less interested in the game.
You called it a lost game when you still had a chance to win.

Even though the mafia managed to convice all town members to vote for Maxi123, they could also just easily quickhammer after your lazy vote on him. That was a very irresponsible vote.

The hammer on ZeldaXD was lame, you could give him a chance to respond.

You truly carried your faction to victory!

Just like RhazzleFrazzle, you had prior experience playing mafia. You were able to use your skill to your advantage and had great reads on people.
You were also good at predicting people. For example, you predicted that RhazzleFrazzle would shoot Evilbunny or Onjit.

You left a good impression of yourself and gained the town's respect.
You had a pretty defensive playstyle, just like Anak and Hostage. It became very visible at the end of D2.
(If you look at the final votecount, you will see that the only players who didn't vote at all were the mafia.)
Onjit, Maxi123 and others pointed this out, but you were lucky that nobody did anything serious about it.
You also once almost led Hostage into giving away both of your roles (See #537), but luckily, noone looked too deep into it.

You made choices with great foresight, for example, you had the chance to hammer the vote on RhazzleFrazzle, but decided to not do it. That made everyone including RhazzleFrazzle have a town feeling about you. 
You became more agressive towards the end and managed to get the remaining 3 town members to vote for maxi123's lynch. Definitely the MVP this game.

You had an advantage for being regarded as one of the less experienced players, many players ignored your slips.
Post #535 was probably the worst one. If anyone looked into it, they could easily see how you AND creature were scumbuddied.
No one did though.

Your contributions in the mafia chat weren't too bad and you were able to defend all allegations in your favor.

You received 0 votes during the game. You faded well in the crowd by playing naturally and not getting eager to win quickly.

You were a little too inactive in mafia chat. Your idle night action once prevented Creature from using their own ability.

Other than that, you played well.

Yeah I think Anak did a good job hiding under the radar. I called him out for his complete lack of content and still nobody suspected him.

I love how the Godfather was able to slip through the entire game because a lot of us thought he was just bad at the game and not scum.

Jonathan was probably the best kill for Mafia N1 honestly. He was one of the stronger players from last game but he hadn't established too much of a presence for the Jailkeeper to have been on him assuming it wasn't him.

I will say that the setup was a little stacked against the town, but other than that we just suck lol

In my defense:

So when Proc told me there was gonna be a mafia 3 I was really excited, until I found out I was a citizen. So I was already disappointed with my role, but I didn't want to back out the basis I didn't like what I got.

So I was already kinda meh, and then Rhaz has to prod me (while I'm getting stuff done to go back to college.) So naturally I got defensive, but ya'll played it off as "Calicara is scum because she made one defensive post." But I did not want to defend using "I'm busy" as an argument, as I feel there should be a separation between real life activity and the game.

I voted Rhazz out of childish backlash, but quickly backed out as I did not genuinely believe he would cause harm. I then changed my vote to Hostage, as I do not trust "village idiots". Unless there is a jester (which there's not), if you play bad I suspect you. But then you all took that as me being hostile. So by this point I was pretty much backed in a corner.

So finally I decided I wasn't going to be able to keep up with it and I switched out.

Other Misc. Notes:

Not sorry but the town this game was DUMB.

Hostage clearly states that he and creature are mafia.

Example 2: The way creature was putting so much pressure on Maxi at the end should have been big red flag that Creature is evil. It's true there was no way to tell who was who, but for him to put that much pressure on someone, with so little evidence other than intuition, seemed extremely sus.

Example 3: As I said, never trust "the village idiot"

Example 4: Also, while I understand you were just trying to get the game moving, I didn't think it was wise to prod me Rhaz, especially since you are a town power role. You would have been better off trying your luck trying to shoot me at night. All you did in the end was give me a scum reading, and get yourself killed by mafia.

That aside, hopefully Mafia 4 will be better.
