Disabling own edit (Play Mode)

Ability to enable/disable your edit temporarily (without giveedit/removeedit).

When I want to play my worlds or my crew worlds, I automatically get edit and sometimes I accidentally delete or misplace a block.

When I'm playing my own worlds, I put my cursor on the chat, so I get no troubles of deleting stuff.

This suggestion is really cool and userful (for when you're trying to test a hard minigame on your world and you don't want to use godmode, even for reseting)
but if you are having troubles with your touchpad, you can do fn+f7 wich disables the touchpad

Seems a bit pointless.
Cant you restrain yourself from using edit or godmode?
Seems easier than the staff just doing even MORE proggraming.
