Welcome to The Grid! In this game you will take the role of a dot on this board:

Great, now you should understand how the game works roughly.

Inactivity Rules:
1. If you miss a turn, you will choose a random direction and shot.
2. If you miss 2 turns in a row, your slot in the game will be open for a substitute to claim to take over for that turn.
3. If you miss 4 turns total, your slot will be open for substitution for all subsequent turns.

I will put a notification in the turn post allowing non participants to claim the spot by posting in the thread.

Submitting commands:
1. Commands can be submitted to me via forum PM or IRC. I am Towel/Tafkl in #eeforums so if you are for whatever reason unable or unwilling to contact me on the forum, just PM me there, as I'm online literally 24/7.
2. Do not submit your commands in this thread. Keep them to PMs, please, be it on these forums or IRC.
3. Each turn lasts either 24 hours or whenever everybody submits a command, depending on when I'm available.
4. If you wish to revise your command, you are free to do so up to the deadline. However, please don't just edit your PM, as I'm not notified of edits.

Submitting commands through IRC might be safer, as forum PMs have historically been pretty broken.

Signing up:
The game is in progress; sign ups are now closed.

You do not need to sign up to be a substitute. If a slot opens just post here saying you want to take over.

Although, cyan seems pretty screwed.

EDIT: Nvm, none of the colors can make a safe move.

question: would "[against wall], break" be a valid command since you'd be clearing a space in the wall to walk into?

No, you can't move into a wall that breaks the turn you move into it. If you're next to a wall, you can't move in that direction.

2. Builds that block off areas will be cancelled with no effect on terrain. (unless the blocked off area has no players inside it)
