I really enjoyed the Islands drawing, mostly because it seems stylized in the same way the video game Fez is. the trees you draw also have a pretty big resemblance, it feels like you took a lot of inspiration from the pixel art there.
also try to cool it with the dithering on such small works of art, it's unnecessary and makes the pixel art more of a checkerboard than the actual object

also also, I think you could have done without some extra colors, because the contrast between a lot of the colors is very minute
Like in this turkey leg, you could've either removed the extra colors altogether, or just raised the contrast between them.
a lot of the stuff was really pretty, keep on pixeling! :>

I like the cityscape, but I'm not sure about how the stripes look, I think there are too many.

I would say that I kind of like the stylistic approach Ping took with the cityscape, because it shows that he's branching out and trying different styles. What I don't like about it though is the noisy background, maybe it could've been striped too, to keep the theme the same?

I'm saying that if all of the buildings have the same colour difference in the stripes, then they kind of blend together. If a few of the buildings were not striped, it would look much nicer, as the striped buildings would look more unique.
