Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

There's already a user BBCode, it works a bit like the URL tag. Link to my forum profile //forums.everybodyedits.com/profile.php?id=2
[user=2]Link to my forum profile[/user] [user]2[/user]

But is there one for a link to world?
You can just use URL tags for that, the world tag would be redundant.

The forum topic and user profile tags are likewise redundant, but they're implemented.
So it's an interesting case.

Well the profile thing actually makes sense because all you need is a person's username, and if you want to link to someone's profile, you know their username already and writing the BBCode would be way faster than typing out the URL for profiles, and that's assuming you even have it memorized and don't have to go look it up in the first place. For world links (and forum user links) you have to go look up the world's ID, which you do by looking up the world's URL. Stripping out the rest of the URL just to put it in a BBCode tag doesn't make sense.
