Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

If you don't know the powerball jackpot is almost at $700m, making it the largest prize in history.
I bought two tickets because why not.
Did anyone else?

I have personally never bought that sort of lottery ticket before, though I've been meaning to branch out.
The chances of my winning are still practically nonexistent, so I don't see why the grand prize amount would motivate me to buy one particularly.
I hate tall signatures.

There's a 1/26 chance to win $4 so that's motivation enough.
Nah but I just did it for fun

The biggest issue from winning the lottery is making yourself publicized. Only six states allow anonymity (Delaware, Kansas, Maryland, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina). You will only become publicized if you claim the prize.
Lottery winners say they get a ton of mail from strangers. Some people are robbed, and rarely, murdered. Remaining anonymous is the best option. If you're going to cast a ticket, move to the six states listed above.

I'm not even not calm.
And if it doesn't make a difference to them, why are they taking it?

You have a better chance of getting struck my lightning in broad daylight then you do winning the lottery
Maverick: Started up on a 6, when he pulled from the clouds, and then I moved in above him.
Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.

$900 million. That's almost a billion. The odds are getting more and more difficult... If nobody wins again, the prize could exceed 1 billion...

The chances remain the same no matter how high the jackpot goes
In other news, I only matched one number and it wasn't the powerball

My mom got three numbers correct!
You have a better chance of getting struck my lightning in broad daylight then you do winning the lottery
You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning in broad daylight then getting hit by a crashing plane.
Also all the people on board also won the lottery at the same time.
And the pilot is an unicorn. (No wonder they crashed. Get it? Wonder? No? Okay.)

You have a better chance of winning this lottery than getting a magic brick in EE.
This is a false statement.
