Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Morality

if you could commit murder and you knew 100% you could get away with it, with no consequences ever, would you?

if you could commit a crime and you knew 100% you could get away with it, with no consequences ever, would you?

that and morality in general. is it good to be good? just how moral are people? are religions extremists moral? what are your morals?

What is morality?

Re: Morality

I see morality basing off the golden rule.
If stealing was the norm, and no one cared, I would be upset. Who cares if I stole from you yesterday, if someone steals from me today?

so I figure following rules works out in my benefit.

Re: Morality

if it was harmless, yes... or if it did more (greater) good than harm as i believed at the time. think robin hood.

idk i have a strange view on crime and p much follow my own kind of moral compass. i just have rules that i haven't really written down anywhere. don't be pointlessly cruel, save the greatest amount of people, maximize happiness, that kind of thing.

Re: Morality

It depends on the crime.
I could be fine with robbing a store,
But stealing a priceless diamond? The guilt would of killed me alone.

Re: Morality

Yeah, probably. I can only assume that the crime is of my choosing, so of course.

Re: Morality

Morals, terrorist, and radicalism/extremist.

Those words are thrown around way to much; they have lost meaning.

Re: Morality

I'm a pacifist. I would never kill anyone. MAYBE if I'm in a very life-threatening situation, though I don't see myself getting into that.

that's odd

for me it's the opposite

People who run small-time shops and stores usually don't make much money, I'd feel bad stealing what they make from workin in their shop all day

As opposed to a priceless diamond in a museum? It doesn't affect anyone that much economically because nobody owned that diamond in the first place. Not to mention you can probably sell it off for multiple 100s of millions of dollars. If someone got fired because of it such as the security guard or whatever, I'd send them an anonymous tip of a couple million bucks //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/smile

Charlie: Well, if you were directly above him, how could you see him?
Maverick: Because I was inverted.
