Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Can we stop shooting down ideas like this? Unless it's actually impossible/never going to happen, I think it's pretty cool and would love to see it implemented.
i don't even think its possible even if it is it will be really hard to implement
How do you think bots get the minimap? The place's minimap is stored somewhere and can be taken.
Use minimapbot and do it yourself
The purpose of this is to minimize the effort. I can always join the level, copy the level ID, use the bot, save the image, go to imgur, upload it to imgur, get the image link, post it here.
Or I could use the tags and to it instantly.

True, there's nothing wrong with having ideas. However, making a system to fit those needs isn't particularly simple. A little trouble on your part would go a long ways. Find someone who takes joy in hosting EE-related images and wouldn't mind generating the image. The worlds change, so if you actually referred to something in there, this tag wouldn't be the best plan. Plus, worlds take a moment to download and render (citation needed)... so there would be a sizable cache time to keep up with requests.
I see two advantages of this tag: Less work, and automatic updating.
The latter is borderline unnecessary because posts aren't made regarding a specific world. They revolve around a level. If you keep changing the level drastically, does the post stay relevant? The former I can't argue against. Laziness is king.
I'm not even sure how these requests work. I've never set up a bot that services http requests. I doubt that this forum setup is prime for your desires. I imagine it's possible, after you hack down at the playerioclient and grab your http requests for database objects. This also might be an unfortunately large increase on bandwidth.
Ultimately, I see this as something a community member could step up and effort. There's nothing that the forums actually need to change in order for this idea to be implemented. We have image tags. Nothing else is necessary.

I don't know. This just seems way out in left field; most of this forum is constant. This idea would be the first tag that would actually do something. The others are simply markup or fill-in-the-blank. And this is reinventing the wheel.

Also, this picture will be uncontrolled
i mean
If you draw a beautiful art in your world and post it here it would be great
But what if you decide to draw big fat bimps in your map, picture on forums will be changed oh this bimps

Im not a web designer but to display images of the worlds like this these images have to be stored somewhere, which means EE devs need to create a system and a whole new database specifically for minimaps. but I still want this
But what if you decide to draw big fat bimps in your map, picture on forums will be changed oh this bimps
Drawing inappropriate content in the game is against the rules so the world owner will just get himself banned faster
that's if i got the meaning of "bimps" correct

This has actually been on the to do list for the longest time. I had originally planned to do this with lrussell's awesome EE API but it got canned and with it went this idea. If someone else was willing to make a service for it I'd be happy to add a BBCode for it but AFAIK it does not exist atm and I can't make it myself.
