Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Everybody Edits, because it's pretty obvious.
Terraria or Minecraft aren't even an option.
This is a false statement.

For years, I'd say that minecraft is better. I want it to be better. But I very grudgingly am going to go with Terraria. It's just more of my type of game. There's actual goals and stuff for it despite still kind of being a sandbox. Minecraft just feels like it's gained RPG-type elements to appeal to that kind of crowd, and I dislike that.
Either way, both are games that I no-life for a week or so and then don't play it for months.

Minecraft is the best, no doubt.

Everything is fine in Terraria until you get your hands on an Uzi and start fighting gods. Well, at least body parts of a god.
That's ridiculous even for a fantasy universe with zombies and underground monsters.
That was gameplay.
As for building I highly think a 3-dimensional environment gives you a lot more ways to get creative.
PS: I mined a 64x64 area from the surface to the bedrock (a whole chunk). Got a sh*tload of stone and built a giant as* castle. c:

Vanilla (no mods) Terraria has better gameplay. Vanilla Minecraft is more creative with building...although in Terraria you have a bigger block choice it doesn't really beat building in 3D. Minecraft has tons of building tools like WorldEdit, TerrainControl, McEdit, WorldPainter, and probably more compared to Terraria's Buildaria and TEdit. All of them are also mods so thank you modding community.
Minecraft has a much bigger modding community than Terraria or at least better mods. To make up for Minecraft's block deficiency you could just get DecoCraft, Chisel 2 (HAS NYAN CAT BLOCKS!), and Carpenter's Blocks and it'd be the ultimate creative experience. The only amazing mod for Terraria that I've seen was NTerraria which adds RPG elements to Terraria and that's awesome. Can't really find a good Minecraft equivalent mod other than Hack/Mine but that mod is severely outdated. Minecraft also has amazing modpacks, some of which doubles as an adventure map which is awesome.
Overall I've lost more of my life to Minecraft than I have to Terraria.
