Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

There should be an undo & redo option.

1 easy and 1 harder way pop into my mind right away:

1) (very resource intensive and slow) Save [x] MAPS, when another action is made, delete the oldest to add the current again. When undo is done, recover the next oldest (but not current) map completely and redo do the same, only then pick a newer map.

2) (Much less resource intensive and much faster) Keep track of the last [x] ACTIONS (say, place blok [x] at [y], [z]). Now you don't really keep track of the actions made, but the blocks affected, basically saving only a part of the map. When you press redo, just recover that part of the map by doing the same action done then, just with different parameters, or just placing the blocks block by block.

Re: [Release] EEditor 5.1.3 - Offline Editor

Bot doesn't upload worlds. I also get an error when I try to change the first numeric value in the replace id window. I would like it if I can move the camera with arrow keys because wasd switches tools.

What do you do to get the error. Give me the steps? Would be awesome to fix the bug.

3.2.3 have those fixed.

Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/132j8 … Editor.zip , or download from first post.

World uploading fixed
Morphing tools fixed
Color picker toolbar button fixed
Rectangle tool hotkeys changed, you can now pan around the world with WASD
Settings improved
BlockID replacer text clarified

Updated the program to be the exactly newest. I had an older 3.2.3 version uploaded.

Are you sure you use .NET Framework 4?

Re: [Release] EEditor 5.1.3 - Offline Editor

If you guys use EEditor, You need to go to, "C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\EEditor" and remove all folders.
These folders is for old EEditors and can contain your login information, which I think none want to have there.
Close the program before you delete the folders.

In newer EEditor updates It's going to have a button there you can open old logs with and then delete.

Re: [Release] EEditor 5.1.3 - Offline Editor

I tried V3.2.4 just now and it didn't work (wouldn't upload, crashed on download). Good to know it will be updated soon.

Is the save file format used by this program documented anywhere? Given that the old uploaders I tried didn't work, I'm thinking of using this for a project on another site, but I would need to know the exact file format first. Some time ago I reverse-engineered the old SAV format used by EE Animator, but this format seems to be different.

Re: [Release] EEditor 5.1.3 - Offline Editor

Decompiling showed me he uses a binary writer.
What does that mean?
You'll need the same objects that he saves in your project in order to read it.

The actual saving method:

Think that should tell you what the format is.
In case you still have no idea, this is what I think it is:
Obviously it starts with the room height and width.
After that I think it's much the same as normal deserialization only completely in binary, haven't looked very in-depth though.

I don't know which old uploaders you have. But EEditor save it as  binary.

Here is the code for that: http://pastebin.com/8NLFDBds

Re: [Release] EEditor 5.1.3 - Offline Editor

'Binary' could mean any number of things. The old SAV format was binary too, but it wasn't the same as yours.

The code you posted might be sufficient for me to work out the format. It doesn't say what the binary data for signs, portals, etc actually is, but I can probably reverse-engineer that stuff without too much trouble, if I need it at all. Thanks!

There is different versions of EEditor that have saved the data different.
